These are after school clubs; however, the High School version (JLA) prepares students to take a DSST test for college credit.

Yes! I make the material available online as well and there is no homework. Students can come when they are available or miss when they have other obligations.

Yes! The more the merrier. Please feel free to come on the posted dates/times for upcoming speakers.

Unfortunately, only club members will have the opportunity to attend the field trip to the Knox County RFC. Even enrolled club members will not be assured a spot, as spots are very limited.

Club is one day a week.
JLA (high school students) are on Tuesdays at 3:30 p.m.
CJS (middle school students) are on Wednesdays, at 3:30 p.m. unless there is a speaker. When there is a speaker CJS is moved to Tuesdays with JLA.

On October 1st, 2025 the first 20 eligible CJS and JLA members who registered by September 1st, 2025 (first come, first served) will go on a field trip to the Knox County Regional Forensic Center (the Morgue) during school hours.

In the beginning of November, CJS and JLA will be hosting a career day. All CCS students will be encouraged to attend.
